ABSTRACT

The National Disease Control and Prevention Bureau and the National Health Commission jointly issued an announcement on Notice on Carrying out Pilot Work of Occupational Health Classification Supervision and Law Enforcement, which presented a method of comprehensive risk assessment method of occupational disease hazards of employers. This method embraces relevant factors at full scale and is simple in operation, but its applicability and accuracy of assessment results need further practical study. Based on the steps of occupational health risk assessment and proven occupational health risk assessment methods available at home and abroad, this paper proposed improvements and discussed the comprehensive risk assessment method of occupational disease hazards of employers, so as to provide a technical basis to implement the occupational disease hazard classification management of employers for relevant government supervision departments.

ABSTRACT

@#Abstract: Objective To analyze the occupational hazards of enterprises in Pingshan district of Shenzhen in 2017. Methods Occupational hazards were analyzed in 200 enterprises in Pingshan district of Shenzhen City selected using stratified Results random sampling method. A total of 24 industries were involved in the 200 enterprises. The declaration rate of , occupational hazards was 91.5% and the exposure rate of occupational hazards among workers was 49.2%. The regular monitoring rate of occupational hazard factors in workplaces of the enterprises was 79.5%. There were 129 kinds of occupational , , hazard factors of which 19 factors exceeded the national occupational exposure limit accounting for 14.7%. The over standard , , , , , , , , rates of noise silica dust cotton dust methanol toluene and other dust were 28.7% 13.6% 11.8% 5.86% 0.5% and , , 0.4% respectively. There were 13 kinds of occupational hazard factors in the workplace of metal products industry all of which ( ) exceeded the occupational exposure limit. The exposure rate 56.7% of occupational hazard factors in workers was the highest. Conclusion , , The main occupational hazard factors were noise dust and chemical factor and the major occupational hazard industry was metal manufacturing in Pingshan district of Shenzhen City.

ABSTRACT

OBJECTIVE: To analyze the distribution characteristics of surveillance results of key occupational diseases in Nanning City.METHODS: The occupational health monitoring data of key occupational diseases of Nanning City from 2015 to 2019 were collected using judgment sampling method and analyzed by descriptive epidemiology method. RESULTS: A total of 38 cases of key occupational diseases were reported in Nanning City during the past 5 years. The main diseases were occupational pneumoconiosis and occupational noise-induced deafness(ONID). The rate of occupational health examination was 40.06%, showing an increasing trend with the increase of years(P<0.01). The detection rate of occupational pneumoconiosis was higher than that of ONID(0.19% vs 0.01%, P<0.01). However, the abnormal detection rate of occupational health special examination in noise-exposed workers was higher than that in dust-exposed workers(10.98% vs 0.35%, P<0.01). The detection rate of pneumoconiosis-like changes in dust-exposed workers was the highest in private enterprises(P<0.01). The detection rate of binaural high frequency average hearing threshold ≥40 dB was highest in small and micro enterprises and private enterprises(all P<0.01). The detection rate of blood lead level >400 μg/L was 24.75%, and 98.80% of the abnormal workers were concentrated in medium-sized foreign-funded enterprises. The detection rates of abnormal leukocyte, neutrophil and platelet counts in benzene-exposed workers were 1.17%, 3.21% and 0.26% respectively. CONCLUSION: Among the key occupational disease risk factors in Nanning City, the number of workers exposed to dust and noise is relatively high, which results in serious consequences and harm. But the hazards of lead and benzene cannot be ignored. Emphasis should be placed on strengthening the supervision and management of key occupational diseases in small and medium-sized micro-enterprises and private enterprises.

ABSTRACT

OBJECTIVE: To explore the combined effect of noise and other occupational hazards on hearing impairment and electrocardiograph(ECG) of workers in automobile manufacturing enterprises. METHODS: A judgment sampling method was used to select 3 434 workers as study subjects from an automobile manufacture enterprise. According to the exposure to different types of occupational hazardous factors, they were divided into noise series group, noise dust group, noise welding dust group, noise benzene series group, noise nitrogen oxide group and control group, with 716, 693, 1 540, 45, 195 and 245 cases in each group, respectively. The subjects were examined with pure-tone hearing test and ECG. RESULTS: The total rate of high frequency hearing loss was 11.2%(385/3 434), and high frequency hearing loss was the main type of hearing loss among workers in each group. The simple high-frequency hearing loss rates of noise group, noise dust group, noise welding dust group, noise benzene series group, noise nitrogen oxide group and the control group were 10.3%, 11.5%, 12.3%, 26.7%, 10.3% and 4.1% respectively, and the rate of total hearing loss were 13.7%, 14.6%, 14.6%, 31.1%, 16.9% and 6.5% respectively. Compared with the control group, the rate of simple high-frequency hearing loss and total hearing loss were higher in the other 5 groups(P<0.005). The rate of high-frequency hearing loss in noise group was lower than that in noise benzene series group(P<0.005). The rate of arrhythmia was 20.9%(717/3 434). Arrhythmia was the main type of ECG abnormality in all groups. The rates of arrhythmia in noise group, noise dust group, noise welding dust group, noise benzene series group, noise nitrogen oxide group and control group were 16.9%, 16.6%, 27.9%, 17.8%, 13.8% and 6.9%, respectively. The rate of arrhythmia in noise welding dust group was higher than that in noise group(P<0.005). CONCLUSION: The combined effect of noise and benzene series increases the risk of high-frequency hearing loss in workers. The combined effect of noise and welding dust increases the risk of arrhythmia in workers.
